Curvy Kate's new Savoo partnership

This October, we’re teaming up with Savoo to raise vital funds for Against Breast Cancer, a U.K. charity dedicated to improving detection, treatment, and survival for those affected by the disease.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the U.K., with around 150 people diagnosed every single day. Secondary breast cancer - when cancer spreads beyond the breast - is the leading cause of breast cancer related deaths.

Against Breast Cancer funds ground-breaking research into how to detect, prevent, and treat secondary spread.

Looking After Your Chest: Why You Should Check Regularly

Finding breast cancer early makes a huge difference to treatment options and survival rates.

Knowing your body and spotting changes early gives you the best possible chance of successful treatment.

Did you know?

People diagnosed with early invasive breast cancer are about two-third less likely to die from the disease within the first five years now than they were 20 years ago, thanks to advances in treatment and earlier detection.

Approximately 85% of breast cancers in the U.K. are diagnosed at an early stage (stage 1 or 2), before the cancer has spread beyond nearby lymph nodes.

Since the early 1990s, the risk of dying within 5 years from early invasive breast cancer has fallen by roughly two-thirds.

Early detection starts with knowing your body, and your bra can help. A well-fitted, supportive bra is not only for comfort and confidence but also makes it easier to notice changes in your breasts.

Ensure your bra fits well: A well-fitted bra helps you recognise what feels normal for your chest. If your band digs in or your cups gape, it can distract you from spotting fundamental changes. Here’s our fitting guide if you’re unsure.

Rotate your bras: Wearing a mix of styles, such as plunge, balcony, and sports, helps you stay aware of how your breasts look and feel in different bras.

Trust your instincts: If something doesn’t look or feel right, such as swelling, skin changes, or discomfort, speak to a healthcare professional.

Remember: Medical professionals recommend that those who have a family history of breast cancer or are over the age of 50 should get regular checks from their GP instead of relying on their own checks.

How much we’ve raised

Thanks to your support over the past two years, our partnership with Savoo has raised an incredible £2,443 for Against Breast Cancer. Every time you’ve used a Curvy Kate discount code through Savoo, a free donation has been made to the charity - at no extra cost.

These funds go directly towards vital research into secondary breast cancer, helping scientists develop earlier detection methods, improve treatment options, and ultimately save lives. It’s proof that small actions like shopping with Savoo can significantly impact.
